Nightwalk. Dedicated to Nicole Toroosian. The Nike Story™ is The untold mythical story of the Goddess Nike. Alis volat propriis. ‘Nightwalk’ is sung and flows like a lullaby... it is simple and I find it gives a sense of sleepwalking... the song is in multiple parts... it begins slow and solemn until the appearance of 'her' feet... at this there is a buoyancy, almost like the idea of walking on clouds or softly on wool... then at the 'gently slow'... the music slows to silence... and a warm misty yet sutble sound fills the air... the kiss happens... and then a crescendo on top of the buoyancy we experienced before, full of positive vibe and energy... and at 'Such is our light', this positive vibe could feature a saxophone solo that takes the melody to new heights before bringing the tempo and mood around and back to a softer feeling in preparation of 'dawn'... and then a lovely moment summising this 'enchanting roam'... and then quiet again... and a slow and solemn sound takes hold for the last verse but with the signature 'heartbeat' feel...
