Just to See. Dedicated to Nicole Toroosian. The Nike Story™ is The untold mythical story of the Goddess Nike. Alis volat propriis. ‘Just to See’ is a song sung by the unnamed and unknown man. The song follows from the man's first sighting of the goddess Nike at the temple gates. The man ventures to catch sight of Nike the next morning. It is a song of starstruck adoration at Nike's being. In the scene, Nike is bathing in a springwater pool served by a sparkling waterfall on mount Olympus. The man, from a distance and behind a rock, is mesmerized by her smile as she douses her face with water; her lips as she brings a phiale of sweet ambrosia to them; her nose as she picks up a water lily and inhales its scent; her eyes as she looks in his direction knowingly; her hair as she folds and combs it; and her graciousness in moving through the water and in climbing out of the pool. Her attendees appear and clothe her and she makes an imperceptible gesture towards him.
